The Bundesliga saw four major moves made early on Monday, as teams move to complete their squads ahead of pre-season.

Keita completes Red Bull swap

RB Leipzig's summer splurge has seemingly just begun, having recently brought in Timo Werner from VfB Stuttgart and now Naby Keita.

The midfielder has been touted as one of Europe's top talents, having shone for sister club, Red Bull Salzburg in the last two seasons.

A goalscoring player in the middle of the park with power and potential; Leipzig have filled any possible gap they had in midfield.

The fee involved is believed to be around the €15m mark, with Keita signing on until 2020 with the newly-promoted side.

Kainz heads to Bremen

After tying down Johannes Eggestein to a new deal, Werder Bremen have now set about bolstering their squad; Florian Kainz is the first player to do just that.

The Rapid Wien winger has made the move on a long-term contract, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.

Kainz was a top performer for the capital club and the 23-year-old recently made his debut for Austria.

“We’re delighted that all parties have agreed to this transfer after very good talks with Rapid Vienna,” said sporting director, Frank Baumann.

Odd move for Özcan?

In what looks to be quite a strange move on paper, Ramazan Özcan has joined Bayer Leverkusen on a three-year deal.

The goalkeeper, who is currently at Euro 2016 with Austria, has seemingly given up first-team football to become Leverkusen's number two.

Dario Kresic and David Yelldell both departed after their contracts ran out in the summer, meaning the Werkself no longer have an issue there.

"He has a lot of experience and match practice and is therefore an ideal addition to our number one Bernd Leno,” commented Rudi Völler.

Usami seals Augsburg switch

After a four-season absence, Takashi Usami is back in the Bundesliga; this time, with FC Augsburg.

The forward has had spells at both Bayern Munich and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim before returning to Gamba Osaka, where he has enjoyed great success.

Usami has signed a four-year deal at the WWK Arena, keeping the 24-year-old Japan international at the club until 2020.

"I continued to follow the Bundesliga from Japan and FC Augsburg have developed massively in the past few seasons," said Usami of his return to German football.
