Liverpool and Watford will both hope to extend their unbeaten runs as the two high-flying teams meet in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Watford are unbeaten in their last four games, winning two and drawing two, and have risen to an impressive seventh place in the league. Liverpool, meanwhile, are unbeaten in 11 in all competitions and sit joint-top of the tree after 10 games.

Winning ways for Watford

Walter Mazzarri’s men managed to grab the crucial three points last time out as they beat Hull City 1-0 with a Michael Dawson own goal, Their last win coming before that being a 1-0 triumph away at Middlesbrough.

So far Watford have won four, drawn three and lost three so its been a good start to their second season in a row in the top flight. It was a tough first few games for the Golden boys playing Southampton, Chelsea and then Arsenal. However, they came back from that by beating West Ham 4-2 at the Olympic Stadium and then Manchester United 3-1 at home at Vicarage Road.

Could Mazzarri’s Watford make it an upset to remember?

Inform Liverpool

Liverpool haven't lost a game this season since the second game where they lost 2-0 to newly promoted side Burnley.  They have found the net twenty-four times so far this season which is ten more than their opponents on Sunday, so will be hoping that the goalscoring form of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho continues.

The last time the two teams met was towards the end of last season where Liverpool came out 2-0 winners. Watford did cause an upset in their first meeting of that season as they beat them 3-0 at home, so anything can happen on Sunday.
