Watford travel to an inform Stoke City side this weekend, in search of three points that could go a long way to helping them stay in the Premier League this season. We took a look at five things to watch out for.

Can Stoke continue their run of form?

After the solid performance agaisnt Swansea on Monday, Stoke will be looking to continue winning ways against the Hornets. With four wins on the trot and Bojan in scintillating form, its all looking very positive for Stoke after a poor start.

Watford though could prove to be tough opposition. The Hornets have only lost once on their travels this year and that was to early premiership leaders Manchester City. While other results have been 2 draws and a win at St James Park.

Will Watford score?

Whilst looking ok at the back (bar the recent second half capitulation against Arsenal). Watford haven't looked much of a threat going forward, with Troy Deeney's lack of goals being one of the key issues. With only 6 goals all season, Watford will have to create more if they want to beat an inform Stoke team this Saturday.

With a lot of pace around Watford's front line, you could expect players like Odion Ighalo to cause Stoke some problems.

Will Shaqiri finally show his true colours?

There's no doubt that Xherdan Shaqiri is a top talent. When Stoke spent £12 million on the Swiss winger, football fans across the world were stunned.

Though since his move to the potters he's struggled to adapt to Premier League pace. His recent showing against Swansea though gave Stoke fans a lot of hope. When cutting in from his right hand side, he looked like a real threat and put in a high number of top quality crosses.

Maybe he just needs some time to adapt a bit like his teammate Bojan did. But could this be Shaqiri's time to prove how good he really is?

Will Mark Hughes get a win in his 100th game in charge for Stoke?

A lot of people to this day still criticise Hughes for his bad time at QPR. There is an argument that it's unfair, as he has turned Stoke into a team with Europa League aspirations. Not only that but he has persuaded great talents such as Marko Arnautovic, Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri to test themselves in the Potteries.

With Stoke winning their last four games you'd struggle to see past Hughes' men getting all three points in this game. Although Watford are a decent side and certainly have the potential to stay up, Stoke's home form should prove to be far too strong.

What changes will Quique Flores make?

After a dissapointing performance agaisnt Arsenal, you can expect the Watford boss to make numerous changes for this match. With Swiss international Valon Behrami back in contention and Jurado missing, Flores will have a selection headache.

With Watford's game plan likely being hit Stoke on the counter, some expect them to move Almen Abdi off the wings and give Colombian winger Victor Ibarbo a start. With Behrami missing a lot of action recently it's possible that they'll look to play Abdi in the middle with Capoue. Also, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him include left back Jose Holebas who has real pace, which could help Watford contain Shaqiri.
