Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko has reiterated his desire to play for a "very big club" in the not too distant future, with last year's FA Cup winners Arsenal and Ligue 1 defending champions PSG amongst some of European's top sides who are reportedly interested in the French powerhouse.

The 25-year-old has impressed in the two years of his tenure in the Premier League since his shrewd move from Ligue 1 side Toulouse, and it is believed that he would be interested in joining a team that will guarantee him the chance to play UEFA Champions League football - which is seen as Europe's elite footballing competition across the world. PSG have reportedly admitted their interest, but according to reports, Sissoko is happy to stay in England, which is regarded as the most competitive league in the world currently. Arsenal were described by the midfielder as "the club of my heart" earlier this month, which suggests that if Arsene Wenger's side were to make a bid for him, he would accept it with flattery. Newcastle value him at around £10-15million pounds; and it has been confirmed in the past few weeks that Arsenal are monitoring his situation - whether that means they will make a bid for him in the summer transfer window remains to be seen as of yet.

Sissoko had this to say, in an interview with French website Foot Mercato: "My goal was to come to England because it was the championship that best matched my game and I do not think I am wrong. So I want to stay here and grow at one of the biggest clubs in England; I have a preference for the Premier League and I see myself staying here. I am focused on Newcastle; I have a four-and-a-half year contract so in my head I still tell myself I am still here for four years and a half. They appreciate me here and everything is good.

I am not saying that I absolutely want to go or not. If it happens, it happens. I am at Newcastle and I will continue to work until one day I have the chance to play at a very big club. Nobody has called me; my agent and I have not spoken to anyone. PSG is one of the best clubs in Europe. If I'm lucky they are interested in me. These are difficult things to refuse; I cannot say yes or no but it is an interest I would take into consideration."
