Not even a week ago, Wales international Natasha Harding issued a statement on Twitter, in which the 26-year-old announced that she had left Manchester City Women by mutual consent following the arrival of Swedish striker Kosovare Asllani from Paris-Saint Germain. But the experienced vice-captain of Wales has already found another club and it was announced that she had officially signed a contract with league rival Liverpool Ladies today.

Harding is very excited and told Liverpool's official website that "this is a great move for me [Harding]" and "I [Harding] cannot wait to get started." She believes that Liverpool's squad is "a really young and ambitious one with huge potential." The 26-year-old is looking forward to the upcoming season, after the fixtures were announced yesterday, and is confident that it will be "a successful one for Liverpool Ladies."

Rogers lands yet another transfer coup

Just a few days ago the Reds announced the signing of Dutch international Mandy van den Berg. Liverpool Ladies manager Scott Rogers speaks very highly about his newest signing and mentioned that Harding is "another big signing for the club" and "a really exciting winger who has a lot of ability."

He believes that the Wales international will "be an important member of the team." Rodgers is fully aware of Harding's quality and thinks that she "will provide us [Liverpool Ladies] with a real goal threat as we look to add more goals to the team."

Harding certainly adds a lot of quality and experience to the team. The striker began her career at Cardiff City in 2007 and has also played for Bristol City Women and Manchester City Women. A move to NWSL team Washington Spirit was also planned, but didn't happen because Harding's P-1 Visa application was denied. The 26-year-old made her national team debut for Wales in 2008 and competed in 38 games so far. The forward was officially named Wales vice-captain in 2015.
